Queensland Police Stop Driver Wheeling Bike Alongside Car

Police officers in Maryborough, Queensland, said they stopped a “wheely interesting vehicle” on November 2 after they spied a man driving his car while guiding his push bike through the window.

Queensland Police said this video shows the “very unique and dangerous transportation method” as the motorist operated their “six-wheel drive.”

When officers asked the driver why he didn’t put his bike in the trunk, the 30-year-old told officers “well, it wouldn’t fit, man,” before being issued with a traffic infringement notice.

Sergeant Josh Churchward said: “We’re glad nobody was hurt in this instance, but we do want to remind everyone that road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Something like this not only puts yourself at risk, but other road users too." Credit: Queensland Police via Storyful
