Queensland Police discovered a woman hidden in a truck travelling from New South Wales to Queensland on October 14, they said.
Police discovered the 51-year-old woman, from Victoria, as part of operations to “minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19.” Officers searched 180 heavy vehicles as part of the operation, they said.
The woman was said by 9News to be the wife of the truck’s 61-year-old driver.
They were each fined $4,003, police said, and were denied entry to Queensland. Credit: Queensland Police via Storyful
