Queensland Catcher Removes Red-Bellied Black Snake Hiding Under Dog Bowl

An Australian snake catcher removed a healthy red-bellied black snake from underneath a dog bowl in a family’s garage in Meridan Plains, Queensland.

Footage posted to Facebook shows Stuart McKenzie from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 removing the snake from the dog bowl and then releasing it back into the bush.

“Gorgeous snake. Not ideal, underneath a dog bowl,” McKenzie can be heard saying in the video.

“If you see a snake in your yard please keep all kids and adults away from the snake and also remove any pets from the situation and lock them in an area out of harm’s way,” McKenzie wrote on his Facebook post that featured of this video.
