Queenie Chu ties the knot with cardiologist Jason Chan
27 Jan – Not a month after announcing her engagement earlier this year, Queenie Chu is now officially married to cardiologist Jason Chan.
As reported on Mingpao, on 24 January, the couple said "I do" at a beautiful wedding that was held at the Peninsula Hotel, attended by only a few witnesses due to the pandemic, including TV host Bob Lam - the same person who introduced the actress to her now husband.
Speaking to the media after the wedding, Queenie couldn't help but sing praises for Jason, saying that he is a kind, tolerant and loving man who is also an ethical doctor.
"Even when we were on a date, he would go back to the hospital when called. I will always be supportive of him. He has taken good care of people around me, and I am grateful to have met him," she said.
Asked if she would retire from showbiz now that she has become a doctor's wife, the actress stressed that her husband has always been supportive of her career. At the same time, she revealed to have had studied clinical hypnotherapy for the past year and a half and is now a licensed therapist.
Queenie also revealed that the two of them are planning to hold a wedding banquet in Bali as Jason's family is living in Indonesia.
