The Queen's Commonwealth Trust is openly siding with the Black Lives Matter moment as protests for racial justice take place across America.

The trust, which is overseen by Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry, and Duchess Meghan, took to social media to share a message of support to those who are protesting and demanding justice following the tragic killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless other Black Americans at the hands of police officers. The trust is a growing network of young changemakers across the U.K.'s Commonwealth who are encouraged to share their ideas and insight on how change can be brought on by anyone, anywhere. Meghan was appointed vice president of the Commonwealth Trust last year.

"Young people are vital voices in the fight against injustice and racism around the world. As a global community of young leaders we stand together in pursuit of fairness and a better way forward. Silence is not an option. #BlackLivesMatter," read a tweet alongside an image of a Martin Luther King Jr. quote.

The trust continued its sentiments with another tweet encouraging those to understand that everyone has the power to inflict positive change into the world and how now is not the time to remain quiet with injustice running rampant.

"We all have the power to effect positive change. It is time to speak up and speak out," continued the statement. "Time to have uncomfortable conversations with ourselves and with others. Time to educate ourselves and unlearn. Time to come together and build a better future as one. #TeamQCT."
