Qatar unveils 'world's biggest boot' in World Cup build up

STORY: The boot measures in at around 7 feet tall and 17 feet long.

Fans had gathered at the Katara Cultural Village for the unveiling, filming with their phones as musicians played traditional music and huge flags of participating nations at the tournament adorned the area.

"(I've) come down to see this world record boots that's due to be revealed any moment as part of Guinness World Records," said British visitor Lucas Meagor.

A number of fans praised the atmosphere ahead of the tournament's kick off this Sunday (November 20) when hosts Qatar take on Ecuador.
