May Tager has become the first Israeli model
to pose for a photoshoot
in the United Arab Emirates
after the two nations agreed to normalize relations

"It is a very historical moment and I am very excited to be the first Israeli model to shoot for an Israeli brand here and I think it is going to be like a big part of the historical moment of fashion and politics."
Easily accessible visas and direct flights there
have not yet been established for Israeli citizens
so the team arrived via Europe
on non-Israeli second passports
(SOUNDBITE) (English) HEAD PRODUCER FOR FIX PHOTO SHOOT, NOYA YOHANANOFF, SAYING:
"It was the first time in Dubai that an Israeli brand, Fix, got a permit to shoot in Dubai ever. So, when we applied for the permits, there was no even like, there was no even like option to choose Israel between the option of the companies' countries. The two nations are hoping the agreement will have economic benefits
and some business cooperation agreements
have already been signed
