STORY: Paris St Germain players arrived at their club's base near Paris on Thursday (June 25) for medical evaluations as training, which had been halted by France's coronavirus lockdown, resumed this week.

The squad's stars, including Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, returned to their training centre in Saint-Germain-en-Laye on Monday (June 22) after a three-month hiatus due to the outbreak, which also put an end to the Ligue 1 season.

Training resumes weeks after news broke of captain Thiago Silva's slated departure from the club. Goalscorer Edinson Cavani will also leave the French champions.

Both players will be involved in the Champions League campaign, which is expected to be concluded in August.

PSG qualified for the quarter-finals after eliminating Borussia Dortmund in the last 16.

PSG were crowned champions on April 30 when the league brought the season to an end as part of the country's efforts to contain the novel coronavirus.
