Protests in Barcelona turned violent on Wednesday, February 17, as demonstrators took to the streets for a second night to rally against the imprisonment of rapper Pablo Hasel.
Hasel faces nine months in prison for glorifying terrorism and insulting Spain’s former king in his music and tweets.

The Catalan News Agency (CNA), which is owned by the Catalan government, reported additional clashes had occurred on February 17 in Girona, Lleida, and Tarragona, with six arrested.
