Protesters Gather in Support of Navalny in Russian City of Tomsk

Rallies in support of detained Russian political activist Alexei Navalny took place in cities across Russia on Sunday, January 31, including Tomsk, where local activists reported 10 people were detained.

“More than 10 people were detained, including four deputies of the Duma of the city of Tomsk: Andrey Fateev, Artem Kanarev, Zabelin Maxim and me,” tweeted Ksenia Fadeeva, the coordinator of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Tomsk and local Duma member.
