Protesters Chant in Louisville Streets After Confrontations With Police

Chanting protesters gathered in downtown Louisville on June 15 after riot police had reportedly faced off against demonstrators blocking major intersections.

In these video, protesters can be seen raising their fists in the air and chanting “no peace” outside the Gene Snyder court complex. A group can also be seen dancing and repeating a chant of “this is what democracy looks like.”

Police reportedly fired pepper balls at crowds earlier in the night after declaring an unlawful assembly when protesters blocked a roadway.

News crews were also reportedly targeted by members of the public in incidents on the Monday. Credit: @brandoncooper_0 via Storyful
