Protesters break into Armenian PM's residence

Video obtained by Reuters and filmed by local news outlet showed a group of people kicking down glass doors and breaking into the Government House No. 1 on Republic Square in Yerevan demanding to see Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Protesters smashed doors and broke furniture in conference rooms. Pashinyan said anyone involved in the unrest would be severely punished.

Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia said on Tuesday they have signed a deal to end the military conflict over the Nagorno-Karabakh region after more than a month of bloodshed. The declaration followed six weeks of heavy fighting and advancement by Azerbaijan's forces.
