Protester disrupts launch of Russia's 'new McDonald's'

STORY: Restaurant staff ushered the man away quickly.

The rebranded restaurant chain held a reopening event at an iconic branch on Moscow's Pushkin Square on Sunday, where the U.S. burger chain first opened in the Soviet Union in January 1990.

McDonald's left the Russian market and sold its business after Moscow sent troops into Ukraine.
