Pro-Palestine, pro-BLM, anti-government protest gathers outside UK parliament

Thousands of protesters marched to the UK parliament on Saturday 26 June in a demonstration for Palestinian rights and other left-leaning causes. Attendees at the 'Peoples Assembly' rally also chanted slogans and held up signs supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, opposing the UK government, calling for action on climate change, demanding better pay for nurses, and other causes. Protesters called for an end to the occupation of Palestinian land and what they called the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. It was one of several protests happening in London today, against coronavirus restrictions, climate change and other causes.
