Pro-Abortion Rights Activists March to Justice Alito's Home in Virginia

People gathered near the home of US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito in Virginia on Monday, May 9, to protest the possible overturning of Roe v Wade, following a leaked draft opinion that showed the court’s majority was poised to strike it down.

This footage, captured by local activist group Shutdown DC, shows protesters en route to the justice’s home, chanting slogans and carrying a banner saying “Repro Freedom For All” on Monday evening.

The demonstration made Alito the third justice to see protests at his private residence, following similar scenes outside the homes of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Chief Justice John Roberts last weekend. Credit: Shutdown DC via Storyful
