Royal couple Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank revealed that they were expecting in late September. The announcement from Buckingham Palace read, "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021. The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."

This is just the latest step in Eugenie and Jack's long love story, which began back in 2010, when the duo met at a Swiss ski resort. They continued to date for years, attending important royal events like Royal Ascot and Pippa Middleton's wedding as a pair, before Jack popped the question in 2018. The couple tied the knot later that year in a memorable wedding at St. George's Chapel.

So, when will the happy couple become parents—and when can fans expect to welcome a new royal baby? Here's what we know about Eugenie's due date.

For now, "early 2021" is what we have to go on.

The announcement from Buckingham Palace offered a rough idea of Eugenie's due date: early next year. The Princess used the same language in a sweet Instagram post celebrating her pregnancy, writing "Jack and I are so excited for early 2021," and adding a baby emoji for good measure.

More information—or at least a few hints—will likely surface in the coming months, and when it does, Town & Country will be sure to update this article.
