Prince Harry and Meghan pay tribute to Ukraine

STORY: Speaking in The Hague, where the event is taking place, Meghan highlighted the Ukrainian team in a heartfelt opening address.

"For each team, my husband and I both recognize it's been a lot to get here, both physically and emotionally, not least of which for the Ukraine team, whom we are all standing with," she said.

The Duchess of Sussex closed her address with "Slava Ukraini!", the Ukrainian national salute meaning "Glory to Ukraine".

Her husband echoed her sentiments, praising the "bravery" of the Ukrainian delegation for being there.

"You know we stand with you. The world is united with you, and still you deserve more," said Prince Harry.
