Prince Harry just proved he can dish out a joke just as much as he can take one. On Friday, at the 21st annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Los Angeles, the Duke of Sussex playfully called out the ceremony's host, John Travolta, for continuing to brag about dancing with his mom Princess Diana at the White House in 1985 — all these years later.

Taking the stage, the royal was greeted by the actor, who placed a medal around his neck. "This is nice," Harry said as he accepted his award for his time as a helicopter pilot in the British Army, telling Travolta: "Thanks very much, Captain John."

Just as Travolta was about to leave the podium, Harry exclaimed, "Don't go running away!" He added, "I was one year old when you danced with my mum. As you’ve told everybody here and continue to dine out on that probably every single night. But look at us now! It’s great. So if we’re not going to dance together, we’ll fly together.”

The jab was met with laughter from the audience, and after delivering the punch line, Harry jokingly dismissed Travolta from the stage. "Thank you, that’s it, we’re done," he said while holding up his hand.

The Living Legends of Aviation Awards are organized by the Kiddie Hawk Air Academy, a nonprofit dedicated to sparking children's interest in aviation and to honor "those who have made significant contributions to aviation and aerospace."

Missing from the ceremony was Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, who was apparently on sick parent duty after one of their children became ill — according to People. The couple are parents to two kids — Archie, 4, and 2-year-old, Lilibet — however, it wasn't disclosed which one was unwell.
