Pride: London's Gay Liberation front turns 50

"There are still battles to win here in Britain, and especially worldwide, " said veteran LGBTQ activist Peter Tatchell, who helped organize London's first Pride demonstration in 1972.

Many of the marchers wore masks, some in the rainbow colors of Gay Pride.

Millions of people from every corner of the world are expected to tune in on Saturday to Global Pride, a 24-hour virtual broadcast that organizers say could become the largest LGBTQ event ever.
