Looks like a specific perfectionist is graduating from Beacon Heights University and moving to Riverdale.
Deadline was the first to report that Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists star Chris Mason will be joining Riverdale in a recurring role for the show's upcoming fifth season. He will be a part of the show's time jump after the first two episodes of the new season, which were meant to be the last two episodes of show's fourth season.
*Warning: Spoilers for Riverdale season 5 below!*
"Mason will play Chad Gekko, Veronica’s (Camila Mendes) controlling and jealous husband who works on Wall Street. An Alpha dog, Chad is threatened by Veronica’s life in Riverdale, especially her friendship with Archie (KJ Apa)," Deadline reports.
Chris will first appear in the fourth episode of the season, after the upcoming seven year time-jump that will show our favorite Riverdale gang post-college as they reunite back in their hometown.
After his character was announced, Chris posted on his Twitter in defense of his character, kind of hinting that he'll be causing some major trouble in the future.
"Chad is a really sweet guy... honest," he wrote with a side eye emoji.

He also posted about it on his Instagram, calling his character a sweetheart with the same emoji.
While we're still going to have to wait and see what Chad has up his sleeve, no doubt that Varchie fans might not be too happy to see him.
Riverdale returns on January 20 on The CW at 8 PM ET/PT and 7 PM CT.
