Erin Lichy's three kids wanted another baby in the family just as much as she did.

The pregnant Real Housewives of New York City star, 37, chatted with PEOPLE at Bravo Fan Fest in Miami, where she revealed that her three kids — sons Levi, 9, Elijah, 4, and daughter Layla, 7 — "begged" her and husband Abe for another sibling.

"They were begging me to get pregnant. Begging," she tells PEOPLE. She recalls the conversation, sharing her kids urged, "Please we really want another baby!'"

"I'm like, 'You do? Like this means less toys, less attention. What's wrong with you?' They wanted it!"

"It feels like adding another act to the circus!" she joked, telling PEOPLE, "Work and life have been so busy that I haven’t really had a chance to even think about how it’ll change things, but I think it will be pretty seamless to be honest. Three vs. four kids doesn’t seem so scary."

"Mostly, I’m just looking forward to enjoying a Mezcalum cocktail and going out for a massive sushi dinner again!”

As for how the mom of three discovered she was expecting again, Lichy shared, "I was out East with Abe and some friends when I suddenly became super sensitive to smells around me. That’s when I knew — I thought, ‘Damn. Here we go again!’"
