Pre-Hispanic cemetery remains found in Lima

According to reports, excavations in the south of Lima have uncovered six bodies and over 24 artefacts such as vases.

The remains were found during the installation of a gas network of the Calidda company at a depth of a few centimetres in an area of approximately 40 square meters.

The archaeologists date the remains to the first century AD; however, they still need to find scientific evidence to classify the findings within a civilisation.
