Powerful Winds Send Debris Flying in Melbourne

Powerful winds swept through Melbourne on October 29, sending debris flying in the suburb of St Kilda, video shows.

Footage by Nichola Young shows debris gliding through the air, bringing traffic on the road below to a standstill. In a later post, Young said the Victorian State Emergency Service (VICSES) had come to clear the road.

A severe weather warning was issued for parts of southern Victoria on Friday, after storms battered parts of the state the previous night.
