Powerful Winds Blow Off Gas Station Canopy in Colorado
Damaging winds knocked off a petrol station’s canopy in Antonito, Colorado, on May 8.
Mike Barela filmed a video that shows the canopy of Pacheco Station rocking from the wind before toppling to the ground.
“Oh there it goes, I knew it,” a man speaking in the video says as the canopy is ripped off by the winds.
The local National Weather Service forecasted wind gusts of up to 85 mph in the local area on Sunday. It warned that the damaging winds could “blow down trees and power lines, leading to possible power outages.” Credit: Mike Barela via Storyful
