Power Outages Reported as Severe Thunderstorm Hits Austin

More than 5,000 homes in Austin were left without power after severe storms moved through central Texas on the evening of Wednesday, June 2, local media reported.

The National Weather Service said the storm brought heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and small hail.
