Seventeen students were arrested over the weekend, after police were tipped-off to a late night after party they were holding in an upscale condo along KL’s Jalan Sultan Ismail. The bust occurred at 3am, Sunday morning.
A well-oiled police team from the Narcotics Investigation Division carried out the operation, code-naming the endeavor Ops Private Party, resulting in the arrest of 14 males, and three females, all aged between 15 and 22.
Police have described the eclectic party haul they have seized, and we’ll be real with you – it sounds as if these kids have thought of everything: Two packets believed to contain ketamine (about two Gs), three tablets of E , two Erimin 5 pills, one bottle believed to contain 1.5 litres of the mildly narcotic ketum juice and four grams of ganja. Not bad, young’uns … not bad at all.
Initial urine tests revealed that only six of the 17 tested positive for drugs.
All will be held in police remand while they are investigated under drugs charges, which is probably good news for neighbors, but bad news for anyone who likes a little after-party fun after a tough week.
