Portland Police Respond to Protest at Commissioner's House

A group of protesters marched to the house of Portland Commissioner Dan Ryan on November 5, after he voted against a council proposal to cut funding to police, local media reported.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said 60 people had gathered at the home.

“While there, individuals broke a window, threw burning flares and paint filled balloons at the home, and broke potted plants,” they said. It was the fourth time in a week Ryan’s home had been targeted, they said.
