Police Unimpressed as Kayakers Take to Post-Nicole Floodwater
Police in Flagler Beach were unimpressed to find several people kayaking through floodwater in the wake of Tropical Storm Nicole.
Police said the group was seen during a damage assessment on South Flagler Avenue. They reminded the public on Facebook that flooded areas should be a “No Kayak Zone”.
Nicole made landfall in Florida as a Category 1 hurricane early on November 10, but weakened to a tropical storm and then a tropical depression, the National Weather Service said. Credit: Flagler Beach Police Department via Storyful
