Suspect Transported to Hospital After Incident at Paramount Studios in Hollywood
Several police vehicles responded to Paramount Studios in Hollywood late on Sunday, October 18, after a suspect in a sexual assault ran onto the lot and barricaded himself inside a building.
Police said the suspect was armed with a knife.
“Tonight around 10 pm personnel from Fullerton Police Department were in the area of Plymouth and Melrose near the Paramount pictures lot… to arrest a sexual assault suspect,” tweeted the LAPD. “They attempted to detain the suspect and he produced a knife.”
Police also reported an “officer-involved shooting” at the gate to the lot on Melrose Avenue.
