Police Rescue Elderly Couple From Burning Missouri Home
Police in Ellisville, Missouri, have released dramatic bodycam footage of two police officers saving an elderly couple from a burning home on Sunday, December 9.
The footage, posted on the police Facebook page on December 17, shows officers responding to the house fire on Hilltop Road in Ellisville.
In the clip, an elderly woman answers the door as Cpl Detring, of the Ellisville Police Department, arrives. The officer urges the woman to go outside while he looks for her husband, who she says is still in bed.
The footage shows Detring searching the home for the man while smoke quickly fills the house.
An Officer Annis then arrives, and the two carry the man from out to safety.
