Police Officers Attacked as Revelers Flee Illegal House Party in England

Seven officers were injured as dozens of party-goers fled from an illegal house party in Nottinghamshire, England, on March 3, police said.

Nottinghamshire Police said they went to break up the large party in Mapperley in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

This drone footage shows revelers running away as police officers attend. An estimated 40 people were at the illegal party.

Police said seven officers suffered minor injuries when revelers attacked them, with some throwing bottles. Police said four people were arrested.

“This incident was completely unacceptable,” Nottinghamshire Police Assistant Chief Constable Steve Cooper said. “An investigation is ongoing as to who else may have been present and we will take robust action against those found to have committed offences.”
