Police in Western Australia said three minors have been charged in relation to an aggravated burglary and armed robberies that happened in the suburbs of Perth on August 30 and into the early hours of August 31.
The Western Australia Police Force said a group allegedly entered a home in Munster before 8 am on August 30 and held a woman in her 60s at knifepoint while jewelry, a cell phone, and other items were stolen. Three minors were charged in the burglary, according to police.
Police said an armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Karawara was also thought to be part of the series of crimes.
This security camera footage, timestamped August 31, shows two suspects in the restaurant, with one brandishing a knife. The suspect with the knife was charged in both the restaurant robbery and the robbery in Munster, police said.
Police said the investigation was continuing as they believed there were “further members of the group who are yet to be identified.” Credit: Western Australia Police Force via Storyful
