Police Halt Traffic for Deer to Cross Road

Police halted traffic in Upper Arlington, Ohio, to allow two deer to safely cross the road, as seen in a video released on July 28.

In a Twitter post, police explained that when traffic lights stopped working at the intersection of Coventry Road and Lane Avenue, Officer Dan Jones manually directed traffic. The “cute couple,” as police called them, can be seen waiting their turn to cross the road, and even using the crosswalk. Credit: City of Upper Arlington Police Division via Storyful
