Police Chase Loose Pig in Cincinnati Neighborhood

Police in Cincinnati, Ohio, said they’d heard “all the ‘pig’ jokes” after two officers chased a pig on the loose in a residential area of the city on November 17.

Officers Grant Perry and Roland Pansch responded to a call saying a pig was loose on Yarmouth Avenue.

Upon arrival, Perry and Pansch chased the animal and eventually were able to safely detain it. They were later told by Animal CARE employees that “Oinker” is a “frequent visitor” and has been brought in before.

The department posted this bodycam footage of the incident, with a message to the public that they’re “gonna have to be a little creative with the comments.” Credit: Cincinnati Police Department via Storyful
