Fans Found A Workaround For One Of The Most Frustrating Things In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

One of the reasons it took me so long to start a second playthrough of Dragon Age: The Veilguard is that recreating the Inquisitor, the protagonist of 2014’s Dragon Age: Inquisition, is a painstaking process. I loved making an older version of my Inquisition hero the first time I played through The Veilguard, but the game doesn’t offer the option to import your Inquisitor into new playthroughs like it does with new hero Rook. As a result, you have to once again dive into each customization option for the Inquisitor and fiddle with the sliders until you get them looking just right, and while I enjoyed doing so the first time around, the prospect repeatedly killed my momentum when I thought about starting a second playthrough. However, fans have now found a workaround that allows you to easily import your Inquisitor from another save file and it’s pretty easy to do, if also a little convoluted. - Kenneth Shepard Read More

Everyone’s got a favorite Pokémon. There are over 1000 of the little (and big) guys, so asking someone which one they like the best means you can get some pretty wide-ranging answers. But which are the most popular in each game? You could argue that the competitive meta might decide, but Pokémon games sell millions of copies and only the tiniest fraction of those are to pro trainers. In reality, the most used ‘mons in the games are going to be the coolest and cutest in the Pokédex. To commemorate the Switch RPG’s second anniversary, Game Freak has released popularity stats for Scarlet and Violet, and has broken down the rankings for a few different contexts, including type, Synchro Machine use, and overall popularity. Let’s break down each. - Kenneth Shepard Read More

There aren’t too many MMORPGs that you can just throw up on a second monitor in the background while you watch Crunchyroll or zone out to your favorite podcast about foreign baking competitions. Most require your input as you quest, grind mobs, and run dungeons with random players you’ll never see again. But RuneScape was unique in providing a stomping ground for players who want to experience character growth with minimal effort. Andrew Gower, one of the minds behind RuneScape, ultimately left Jagex to form Fen Research, and now, his first game, Brighter Shores, is available on Steam as a free-to-play point-and-click MMORPG. - Brandon Morgan Read More
