‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ trailer, release date unveiled

“Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” the first in the franchise to take place in a post-Ash Ketchum world, will be available on Netflix starting Feb. 23, 2024, The Pokémon Company announced on Wednesday.

More trailer: Accompanying the release date announcement on Wednesday is another trailer for “Pokémon Horizons: The Series” that features Liko and Roy. Liko and Roy are the two new trainers that replace Ash after he became the No. 1 Pokémon trainer in the world.

The Rising Volt Tacklers, led by Friede and his Captain Pikachu, are also featured in the latest trailer.

About the new show: Set in “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s” Paldea Region, “Pokémon Horizons: The Series” follows Liko and Roy and their partner Pokémon Sprigatito and Fuecoco as they embark on an exciting journey along with the Rising Volt Tacklers and try to evade the mysterious organization Explorers as they try to steal Liko’s pendant necklace.

Other releases: “Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” a Netflix exclusive in the United States, will arrive earlier in the United Kingdom in December through the BBC iPlayer and CBBC, Pokémon UK announced in early November.
