A podcaster who recently interviewed Justin Baldoni has removed his episode in light of Blake Lively's sexual harassment complaint filed against him.

On Tuesday, Dec. 24, Elizabeth Day, who hosts the podcast How to Fail, shared a statement on Instagram in which she wrote she decided "to remove the recent How to Fail interview with Justin Baldoni from all platforms while the distressing allegations made against him in Blake Lively's recent [filing] are fully investigated."

"Every individual has a right to a safe workplace. Every woman has the right to dignity in that workplace," wrote Day, a British author. "Every form of abuse should be called out and I salute the individuals who have the courage to do so."

Baldoni appeared on the Dec. 4 episode of Day's podcast, where he opened up about receiving an ADHD diagnosis at age 40 and said he "had a near breakdown" while directing and starring in It Ends With Us, the romantic-drama movie at the center of the legal complaint Lively, 37, filed against Baldoni on Dec. 20.

Lively filed her complaint months after rumors of behind-the-scenes discord between her and Baldoni began emerging in August. She alleged that during the production, Baldoni exhibited “disturbing" and “unprofessional” behavior on set, then allegedly deployed a retaliatory smear campaign against her.

Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman called Lively's allegations "false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt” him in an initial statement shared Dec. 21.

On Dec. 23, he addressed Lively's claims that Baldoni's crisis publicists ran a smear campaign against her that damaged her reputation and businesses and said that The Agency Group (also known as TAG PR) "operated as any other crisis management firm would when hired by a client experiencing threats by two extremely powerful people with unlimited resources."

In a statement Lively shared with The New York Times when the outlet reported on her complaint Dec. 21, the actress said, "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted."

Baldoni, who has since been dropped by his talent agency, has co-hosted The Man Enough podcast with journalist and author Liz Plank and producer Jamey Heath, the latter of whom was also accused of misconduct in Lively's complaint, since 2021. Co-host Plank said in a statement Dec. 23 that she is leaving the show.

"We all deserve better, and I know that together, we can create it. I will have more to share soon as I continue to process everything that has happened," Plank said. "In the meantime, I will continue to support everyone who calls out injustice and holds the people standing in their way accountable."
