Plows Clear Austrian Motorway as Deep Snow Causes Snarl-Ups

Heavy snowfall in Tyrol, Austria, on the morning of Thursday, November 4, caused trucks to get stuck along the Brenner motorway, local media reported.

Video posted by Austria’s publicly owned highway tolls authority shows the A13 section of the motorway being cleared of snow. The authority said 35 cm (13 inches) of fresh snow piled up on the road overnight.

Local media reported that traffic didn’t move on the motorway for an hour as trucks lined up in the snow. Snowfall was also reported elsewhere in Austria. Credit: ASFiNAG via Storyful
