Pleasant Grove Road Submerged in Floodwater as Heavy Rain Impacts California

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office said a road in Pleasant Grove became submerged in floodwater on Monday, January 9, as heavy rain brought the threat of flooding to much of California.

Footage released by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office shows S Brewer Rd in Pleasant Grove. The National Weather Service warned that heavy rain, heavy mountain snow and damaging wind gusts would continue to impact much of the state through Tuesday.
