Playful Rhino Calf Frolics With Mother in Mud Puddle at Cincinnati Zoo

Ajani Joe, a black rhino calf, enjoyed sharing a mud puddle with his mother, Seyja, footage shared by the Cincinnati Zoo on April 29 shows.

According to the zoo, “Black rhinos love to wallow in mud!” The rhinos, “use it to keep themselves cool, protect their skin from the sun, to ward off parasites, and they most likely also just like the feel of it,” they added.
