Playful Dogs Frolic in Flooded Dallas Yard

A group of playful pups frolicked through a flooded yard in Dallas, Texas, amid flash flood warnings issued for the region on August 22.

This footage, filmed by Kirsten Frank shows a handful of dogs bounding around an inundated yard. Frank told Storyful that she runs a dog training facility saying: “I let the dogs out to play (including my own dogs) and they enjoyed the water and rain thoroughly.”

“The video shows my yellow lab, mercy… getting the other dogs to chase her in the rain and the other dogs following her lead and having a blast in their 2/3 acre yard, turned into a pond” Frank added.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Dallas and surrounding areas on Monday, saying that August 21- 22, was the second wettest 24-hour period on record for the state. Credit: Kirsten Frank via Storyful
