Plane Drops Retardant to Contain Spread of Aquila Fire in Arizona

Firefighters worked to contain the spread of the Aquila Fire in north Phoenix, Arizona, on Wednesday, June 24. At 3 pm, an evacuation order for residents was lifted and the fire was 50 percent contained, according to Arizona State Forestry.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the fire had burned almost 900 acres, according to officials.
