KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- The Super League match between Petaling Jaya City FC (PJ City FC) and Terengganu FC scheduled for tomorrow night, has been postponed due to venue concerns.
The Malaysian Football League (MFL) in a statement said the match will be held at a later date.
It is due to PJ City FC's home turf, the Petaling Jaya City Stadium, unable to be used as it is undergoing upgrading and changing room renovation works.
The team also failed to seek for an alternative venue as all MFL-approved stadiums were booked by other teams for Super League and Premier League matches this weekend.
Earlier, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, who is MFL and also Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president, announced that all Super League, Premier League, M3 League and M4 League from today until Sunday would be played without spectators due to COVID-19 fears.
All matches scheduled from Monday (March 16), including FA Cup competitions, have also been postponed as a precautionary measure against the outbreak.
