Pilgrims Rescued as Heavy Rain Results in Deadly Landslides in Northern India

Police said they rescued 22 pilgrims in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, as heavy rain caused deadly landslides on October 19.

A total of 16 people have been killed during the severe weather in the state, officials told ANI.

Some 100 tourists were also rescued from a resort between Ramnagar and Ranikhet, News18 reported.
