Netflix just dropped their new psychological thriller film, The Devil All the Time, which stars Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson and Bill Skarsgard in a gripping and sinister story based on the 2011 award-winning book of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock.

The film, which is set in Ohio after World War II sees "an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family," according to the official synopsis.

Plus, if you needed any more persuading, alongside the three leads the film also stars Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Riley Keough, Mia Wasikowska and Harry Melling. Sign us up.

Aside from the fact that the film looks dark and completely gripping, there's one thing that people really can't get over, and that's Robert Pattinson doing a Southern American accent.

Some viewers loved it, saying that the over-the-top drawl was fitting for the character, while others thought R-Patz could have done with a little more practice (reportedly he declined to see an accent coach), and some just loved his performance so much they didn't care about the accent.

Accent aside, lots of people took to Twitter to share their views on Pattinson playing this extremely creepy role, and overwhelmingly people loved his performance, with lots of viewers calling him one of Netflix's most evil characters.
