The 2024 People's Choice Awards are here!

This years there are a more than 40 awards up for grabs. Among the mega-stars nominated: power couple Taylor Swift (who has 5 noms) and Travis Kelce, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts and Reese Witherspoon.

Simu Liu, who is also nominated for Barbie, will host the star-studded event. Meanwhile Kylie Minogue and Lainey Wilson will hit the stage to perform, as will Lenny Kravitz, who is also set to receive the nights' people's music icon award.

But before the show kicked off at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and E!, stars dressed to impress on the carpet. See their gorgeous looks below.

Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney wore the hottest color of the season to the People’s Choice Awards. The presenter and nominee for Anyone But You rocked a red Mônot gown with minimal jewels.

Lenny Kravitz will receive the music icon award and perform tonight. But first, he shut down the carpet in a blazer with dramatic shoulders (and a single sleeve) styled sans shirt. A statement necklace and his signature shades completed yet another epic look.

Rachel Zegler

Nominee Rachel Zegler looked chic in a Dior Haute Couture dress with a beaded top and tiered tassel bottom, plus glamorous waves.

Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra turned heads in this iridescent dress with a plunging neckline and silver clutch.

Simu Liu

Simu Liu is on hosting duties tonight, but he’s also a nominee for Barbie — and one of the event’s best dressed in a merlot suit with a coordinating button-down and shoes, plus a Fernando Jorge Sync necklace.

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is scheduled to perform, but first she put on a show on the red carpet in a metallic green strapless midi dress with a high slit from Raisa Vanessa which she paired with strappy heels and a black mani/pedi.

Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale, on hand to present, made her mark on the carpet in a strapless, draped Christian Dior gown in the color of the moment, red, as well as Simon G. earrings and two rings.

Halle Bailey

New mom and nominee Halle Bailey chose a multicolor Roberto Cavalli gown from the label's 2003 collection that gave The Little Mermaid vibes.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Saturday that China's largest coastguard vessel has anchored in Manila's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the South China Sea, and is meant to intimidate its smaller Asian neighbour.
