Sometimes films and TV shows give us crossovers we never thought possible, and sometimes they give us crossovers we take 27 years to notice, like this bizarre little mash up and halloween classic Hocus Pocus and much-loved sitcom Friends. Almost three decades after the film was released fans have spotted that one scene was actually filmed on the same set of the opening credits of Friends, featuring the same iconic fountain.

The scene is the one in which Max, Dani and Allison believe that they've killed the witches in a kiln and dance around the park celebrating. Obviously, once the witches emerge from the kiln smoky and only a little singed in the next scene it becomes clear that the three kids had celebrated a little too early.

With Halloween in sight the Hocus Pocus chat has really started to ramp up, and apparently some people have already watched the film through a few times with one fan taking to Twitter after spotting that this scene was filmed on the same set at the opening credits of Friends, and included the fountain that Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Ross, Chandler and Joey all danced around soundtracked by The Rembrandts I'll Be There For You.

Earlier this week Sarah Jessica Parker who played Sarah Sanderson in the 1993 Disney movie, shared three pictures to Instagram of the upcoming Hocus Pocus reunion, which is coming later this month.

The Sanderson Sisters, Bette Middler, SJP and Kathy Najimy are taking part in a virtual event 'In Search of the Sanderson Sisters,' in aid of the New York Restoration Project, and reprising their iconic roles for the event.

Can't it be Hocus Pocus season all year round?
