Following The Penguin, the Season 3 finale of Industry managed 260,000 cross-platform U.S. viewers, WBD said.
While that may seem like peanuts in comparison, it’s a strong audience for the modest finance drama. It is down from Episode 3’s audience record, but a win nonetheless.
WBD says that Season 3 is averaging nearly 1.6M cross-platform U.S. viewers per episode, which is well ahead of Season 2, which was managing about 1.2M within the same time frame.
As was the hope, Industry‘s move to the Sunday night slot has helped boost its visibility. Ahead of the penultimate episode, HBO renewed the series for Season 4.
The Penguin is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, and Lauren LeFranc, who serves as writer and showrunner. Craig Zobel directed the first three episodes in addition to executive producing. Bill Carraro also executive produces.
