Pedder Group launches the third Gabriela Hearst installation in Singapore
For the third time running, Pedder Group is hosting Gabriela Hearst’s Autumn Winter 2020 collection from today until 31 December at Pedder on Scotts, Scotts Square.
At the pop-up installation, fans are invited to discover her new designs and coveted styles – including Pedder Group-exclusive colourways – plus a range of accessories and a selection of footwear.
Fresh from taking home the prestigious title of American Womeswear Designer of the Year at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards 2020, Hearst continues to cement her title as one of the most important designers of the moment. Thanks to the label’s deeply rooted principles of timelessness, quality and sustainability, the New York-based Uruguayan-born creator has a built a cult following her line since its inception just five years ago.
The series of installations will house an impressive assortment of Hearst’s handbag collection. Known for creating a blink-and-you’ll-miss-out fashion frenzy at the release of new styles, this season sees the debut of a bounty pf new designs.
Leading the newsness if the Baez bag (S$4,350), set to be a new classic that follows in the footsteps of Hearst’s now-iconic Demi and Nina (from S$3,850) bags, the cube-like creation features a signature rose gold turn-lock closure and smooth Italian Nappa leather.
Customers will also be able to discover covetable new styles including the glided, art-deco-inspired Virginia (S$7,100) - named after singer Patsy Virginia Cline – Vevers tote named after the designer and close friend Stuart Vevers (who’s Coach creative director) – and the tech-friendly Neck Pouch.
The collection also sees the release of two notable collectors’ item: the Nostalgia (S$6,980) and Off To The Races (S$19,950) bags – both which possess the hallmarks of heirloom treasures. The relaxed and hand-woven carryover creation, Crochet (S$1,650), will also be on offer.
