Paulina Porizkova is standing her ground when it comes to defending her age.
On Tuesday, the 57-year-old model poked fun at critics who claimed she was too "old and ugly" to show off her body by sharing a cheeky photo of herself posing nude.
Porizkova wore nothing but a denim jacket that was strategically placed across her bare body. She left her arms, left leg and hip completely bare as she confidently posed for the camera in front of stick-and-peel wallpaper by Spoonflower.
The mother-of-two shared the image on Twitter with the caption, "How to wear a jean jacket when you’re #oldandugly."

Almost immediately, Porizkova’s fans jumped in to support her.
"Beauty does not age. You are far wiser now, then when I had posters of you on my wall as a teen," wrote a fan on Twitter. "That just makes you far more attractive than ever."
"Old doesn't equate ugly. We all age and should see the value of experience and wisdom. You certainly are not ugly," shared another fan.
"Old and ugly are two descriptive words that hold no place in your vocabulary. I do have two new words for you though, stunning and mesmerizing… Love the jacket!" said another.
"You’re gorgeous still, and you’ve been an inspiration to me for many years," someone else wrote.
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model began using the hashtag #oldandugly after a follower criticized her for sharing a photo of herself modelling a gold string bikini.
In April, Porizkova re-posted the photo on Instagram along with the comment she had received.
"You must be in so much pain to keep posting bikini pictures at your age. I've always thought that getting old and ugly is hardest on the pretty people," the commenter wrote. "The fall from grace is so much father when you were beautiful."
Porizkova, who routinely exposes the double standards women face as they age, wasted no time acknowledging that this point of view is shared by many others.
"A woman of 57 is ‘too old’ to pose in a bikini — no matter what she looks like," she wrote in the caption. "Because Old is Ugly. I get comments like these every time I post a photo of my body. This is the ageist shaming that sets my teeth on edge."
"To perceive beauty you have to be able to SEE. This is why I believe we get more beautiful with age. We have earned our beauty, we understand what it is, and we can see it so much better. There is no such thing as ugly and old. Only shortsighted and ignorant," she concluded.
